Ahmedabad-based OmSpace Rocket and Exploration Pvt. Ltd. has secured ₹25 crore (~$3M) in its first external funding round from a Dubai-based family office.

Founded in 2020, Omspace is building Infinity-I, a reusable rocket that can carry up to 350 kg into low Earth orbit (800 km). The startup has already tested solid-fuel engines and is now working on cryogenic engines, aiming for its first commercial launch in January 2028.

At Startup Veda, we see this as a big step for India’s private space tech sector
