Growing up, questions weren’t welcome.

Especially not for elders. Especially not the hard ones.

So we learned to nod. To accept. To stay quiet even when something didn’t sit right.

Now we’re adults, and many of us still carry that silence.

→ We avoid asking questions that feel too direct.
→ We avoid questioning people we admire, or fear.
→ We avoid challenging what we’ve always believed.

But the cost is high.

Too many assumptions.
Too many broken relationships.
Too many people escaping accountability—ourselves included.

Progress requires friction.
